Royal Stays in Rajasthan: Palaces Turned Hotels

Lake Palace, Udaipur

Back in the day, Mewar royals used to chill here—now the Lake Palace just sort of lounges on Lake Pichola looking like someone’s wildest luxury fever dream.

🏨 Taj Hotels runs the show, so yeah, it’s legit.

Samode Haveli, Jaipur

Tucked away in Jaipur—seriously, blink and you might miss it—this haveli used to be where the Samode big shots called home.

Think courtyards straight outta a Mughal fever dream, walls dripping in wild frescoes, and yeah, you can literally stroll in through giant elephant arches.

Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur

Okay, so picture this: a massive mansion—like, one of the biggest private homes on the planet. These days? It’s half swanky hotel, half actual palace where royalty still hangs out.

Oh, and yeah, the Jodhpur royals still call this place home. Wild, right?

Neemrana Fort Palace

This old-school fort from the 1400s? Yeah, it’s now some swanky, nine-level hotel just outside Delhi.

Think ziplining across ancient walls, vibing at cultural nights, and soaking up those moody, historic vibes.

Devigarh Palace, Udaipur

Royalty, but make it chill. This 18th-century palace? Total old-school glam meets slick, modern vibes.

Oh, and if the place feels familiar, that’s probably because it’s popped up in both Hollywood and Bollywood flicks. Basically, it’s where history crashes the luxury party.
