Kedarnath- The Sacred Abode of Lord Shiva

Kedarnath, opening on 2nd May 2025, a sacred Hindu pilgrimage destination, is a sacred Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva and an important halt on the Char Dham Yatra. 

 

Situated in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand, at an elevation of 3,583 meters (11,755 feet), this ancient shrine radiates spiritual vibrations and sheer natural splendor.

Badrinath – The Abode of Lord Vishnu

Badrinath, opening on 4th May 2025 is one of the holiest Char Dham pilgrimage centers, is devoted to Lord Vishnu and represents salvation and eternal peace. 

 

Located in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand at an elevation of 3,300 meters (10,827 feet), the temple is situated on the banks of the Alaknanda River, providing a divine and awe-inspiring experience to pilgrims.

Gangotri – The Sacred Origin of the Ganges

Gangotri, opening on 30th April 2025, one of the four sanctified Char Dham pilgrimage locations, is a spiritual origin point of the divine Ganga River. 

 

Situated in the Uttarakhand region of the Garhwal Himalayas at a height of 3,100 meters (10,200 feet), the temple of Gangotri is an emblem of righteousness, piety, and holy energy.

Yamunotri – The Sacred Seat of Goddess Yamuna

Yamunotri, opening on 30th April 2025, the sacred origin of the Yamuna River, is one of the four hallowed destinations of the Char Dham Yatra. 

 

Situated in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand at an elevation of 3,293 meters (10,804 feet), this sacred temple is devoted to Goddess Yamuna, representing purity, peace, and protection.
