Udupi is a beautiful Town located in Karnataka the town is located on the cost of Arabian sea and is famous for its vegetarian cuisine and South Indian restaurants all over the country. Udupi is located just 60 km from Mangalore and is famous for its beautiful covered ancient temples, laidback beaches and unexplored green forests. Udupi is surrounded by the Arabian sea on its one side and the Western ghats on other side. The most attractive thing in Udupi is the beautiful beaches such as the Malpe beach which is a hotspot for tourists serving the most delicious sea food. And also the beaches here have numerous water sports activities for the tourists and the famous St. Mary's Island which is famous for its black rocks is just a few kilometers away from here.
 

Krishna Temple, Udupi 
 

Krishna temple is one of the most famous pilgrimage sites in South India and is the famous temple of Karnataka this temple is dedicated to lord Krishna. In this temple the idol of Krishna is decorated with jewels and golden chariot which is a unique attraction in this temple. In Udupi it is believed that the temple is 1000 years old. Every year thousands of devotees come and offer prayers to lord Krishna in this temple.

 

Kaup Beach, Udupi 
 

Kaup beach is present between Mangalore and Udupi, beach is another pristine and relatively untouched beach. The lighthouse here was constructed in 1901, which is open every day for an hour from 5:30 AM. The panoramic view of the sea from the top of the lighthouse is phenomenal.
