Vulture's peak is also known as griddhakuta is a significant pilgrimage site for Buddhist as it is one of the top three places where Gautam Buddha preached for many years. The peak is located on a small hill just outside of Rajgir at an altitude of 400 m. The peak is known as vulture speak as it is shaped like a vulture. Opened in 1982, the Veerayatan Museum is a beautiful Jain museum showcasing the history of each of the 24 Jain Tirthankaras. The Maniar Matth was once a monastery of a cult who worshipped snakes. Here, the figures of different snakes that are found here can be seen. The structure is in the shape of a stupa and named after a small shrine that was found here on excavation. The photos of Buddha are also seen on the outer walls.

Tapodharmaion was an ancient Buddhist monastery. The Lakshmi Narayan Mandir has been built on the same location where once Tapodharmaion monastery was present. The Brahmakund here is a popular spring and its temperature is generally around 45 degree Celsius.
