The Pandupole Hanuman Temple is situated inside the Sariska Tiger Reserve and is a significant religious center. The best time to visit Alwar is from October to November, December, January, or February. It has cool weather between 8°C and 25°C. This is an ideal season to visit Bala Quila, City Palace, or Bhangarh Fort and experience wildlife safaris at the Sariska Tiger Reserve. The winter months are also excellent for outdoor pursuits such as boating at Siliserh Lake and trekking to Garbhaji Waterfalls.
There is also a festival, Alwar Festival that occurs during February and exposes visitors to this and other very lively, traditional local cultures. Summer from April to June is best to be avoided during the season because of extreme heat that can touch upon 45°C, rendering any outdoor excursions uncomfortable.
