This 11th-century stepwell was constructed by Queen Udayamati in memory of her husband. Intricate carvings, sculptures, and architecture define this magnificent stepwell adorned by a series of descending steps decorated with exquisite stonework, depicting various deities, celestial maidens, and mythological motifs.
