Arrival in Shillong
As you arrive at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, you will be greeted by our friendly representative who will welcome you and take you through the transfer to Shillong, also recognized locally as 'the Scotland of the East'. At Woe will stop at Umiam Lake, a scenic reservoir of water. It is surrounded by green hills, creating a vibrant place of relaxation and picturesque views.
Continue your beautiful drive towards Shillong. This hill station is very popular for its pleasant weather and natural beauty.
Upon arriving at Shillong, check into the hotel, then you get a chance to recoup. Rest at hotel and enjoy a delicious dinner provided by hotel. Overnight in Shillong, resting and preparing for the great days ahead of you.

Journey to Cherrapunji
Enjoy a healthy breakfast at your hotel in Shillong before heading out for your exciting day trip to Cherrapunjee. Up at 4,400 feet, and known to be the wettest place on earth, your adventure to Cherrapunjee will certainly be exhilarating and don't forget the magnificent landscape this area is known for.
This is an area to truly see as Cherrapunjee has the most beautiful Nohkalikai Falls- the highest and one of India's most beautiful waterfalls, while also showcasing some fascinating Mawsmai Caves, where nature is truly astounding.
With a great exposure trip to Cherrapunjee, head back to Shillong. On the journey home, visit the notable three-tiered falls Elephant Falls and Shillong View point, where you will have another awe-inspiring view of the city and surrounding area.
By evening, you will return to your hotel in Shillong and enjoy a very well deserved rest for the evening. Enjoy dinner, retire and rest up for your next day's adventure.3
Shillong Local Sightseeing & Transfer to Guwahati
After your nutritious breakfast at your hotel in Shillong, and reveling in all that the area has to offer, it is time to check-out and totally immerse yourself in the day with a visit to some of Shillong’s most epic attractions.
Be sure to check out the Don Bosco Museum first. Here you will immerse yourself into the rich cultural roots of Northeast India. Don Bosco Museum is guaranteed to be a highlight of your experience!
Your next stop will be the stunning Ward’s Lake for a leisurely stroll around this manmade lake in the midst of beautifully-maintained gardens. You can then visit the Botanical Garden, and the stunning Lady Hydari Park-a cute park with stunning gardens and a small zoo.
Afterward, continue your drive to Guwahati. Upon reaching Guwahati, check in at your hotel and enjoy some time to relax. Later in the evening, you may also get a chance to take in the sights on a Golden Sunset Cruise on the Brahmaputra River (you would have to purchase tickets at your own expense). Either way you will still get to enjoy the serenity the river provides, and of course, a one of a kind sunset.
Return to your hotel at the end of the evening, take a chance to enjoy a delicious dinner and turn in early to prepare for later on your journey tomorrow.

Departure from Shillong to Guwahati
After a nice breakfast at your hotel in Shillong, check out and set off for your transfer. You will be taken to Guwahati Airport or Railway Station (100 km / 3 hrs.), where your wonderful trip will come to an end. As you travel to the airport or station, take a moment to think of all the wonderful memories you created during your visit to Shillong and Cherrapunjee.
