It would be a fifth day, in all probability over a good hearty breakfast, so on to Sasan Gir and its wild adventure-a mere 100 kilometers up ahead. But to the seeker of the wilderness world and of the nature lover, it forms a place of wonder, as it is home to the proud Asiatic lion said to call Gir National Park their abode.
Once you arrive, start an exciting Open Jeep Safari toiling your way through Gir's dense forest. The roars of lions ringing the distance as one gets to see the raw beauty of a protected sanctuary alive. So do not forget to carry your camera handy because there might be a sighting not only lions but also other species of wildlife such as leopards and other species of birds.
After the adventure-filled safari, it's great to visit Gir Interpretation Zone at Devaliya to explore in detail its biodiversity and rich efforts of the conservation of this park (zone remains closed on Wednesday).
